Gold Coast Light Painting Workshop

This is a “one off” opportunity to get some training and experience with Light Painting Photography – and stay overnight in a sub-penthouse on the 60th floor of Q1 on the Gold Coast.

IMG_9747Photography is all about “capturing” light – but it is normally ambient light that we deal with.  Light painting is all about manipulating the Light Source to create spectacular effects.

This 24hr Experience/Workshop commences at 12 noon on Thursday 28th August 2014 at the Gold Coast, where you will be taught the fundamentals of Light Painting Photography.  We will adjourn to the 60th floor of the Q1 apartments in Surfers Paradise to learn some processing techniques.  We will take some sunset photos and then as it darkens , move out in amongst the lights of Surfers Paradise to try out a variety of different light painting techniques (including Fire Painting and Fire Orbs/Discs).

You will get to stay overnight in a Q1 sub penthouse apartment and the following morning we will do a Sunrise shoot, have a leisurely breakfast and finish up with some processing workshops on the photos we have taken.
